ingredients

1  tablespoon olive oil

3  cloves garlic, thinly sliced

9  ounces fresh spinach, washed and thoroughly dried

preparation

step 1.

Prepare Ingredients: Ensure the spinach leaves are thoroughly washed to remove dirt, then completely dried to avoid oil splatter during cooking. Thinly slice the garlic cloves to maximize their flavor infusion into the oil.

step 2.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add the garlic slices, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until golden, being cautious to prevent burning.

step 3.

Turn the heat to medium-high. Gradually introduce the spinach to the skillet, stirring to mix with the garlic and oil. Add the spinach in batches if necessary, to prevent overcrowding and ensure even cooking.

step 4.

Continue to cook, tossing regularly, for about 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted yet retains a vibrant green color. Aim for a texture that is tender but not overcooked.
