ingredients

1  pound skinless boneless chicken breast

1  teaspoon salt

1/2  teaspoon ground black pepper

1  tablespoon olive oil

preparation

step 1.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

step 2.

Add chicken to skillet, cook, uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes per side or unit thermometer inserted into thickest part of breast reads 165°. Remove to a paper towel lined baking sheet and allow to cool, at least 5 minutes.
