1  cup farro

1  cup dried large lima beans, soaked for 1 hour, drained before use

6  tablespoons ground flaxseeds

2  tablespoons chia seeds

2  teaspoons ground turmeric

2  teaspoons grated fresh ginger

1/2  teaspoon salt

preparation

step 1.

In a pot or a saucepan, combine farro with 1 1/3 cups water. Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and allow it to simmer for 30 minutes covered or until the farro is tender.

step 2.

In a pot or a saucepan, combine dried large lima beans with 2 cups water. Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and allow it to simmer for 80 minutes covered or until the dried large lima beans are tender.

step 3.

In a mixing bowl, combine everything. Store each individual serving in a mason jar in the refrigerator.
